Usage

vk review <branch> [base] [options]

vk review prepares an AI-assisted pull-request review that runs inside your IDE’s coding agent (Devin / Windsurf). The CLI itself never calls an LLM. It:

Validates that <branch> and [base] exist in the local repo (local refs/heads or refs/remotes/origin), after a git fetch --all --prune.
Installs the /review agent workflow at .devin/workflows/review.md.
Persists the review parameters to .vk/review/context.json so the workflow knows which branch and base to compare without re-prompting.

You then trigger /review in the IDE agent, which checks the branch out, computes the merge-base diff, runs the project’s own typecheck / lint / tests, writes a severity-ranked review to .vk/review/<branch>.md, applies the fixes you approve, and prepares a commit — asking before committing and never pushing without explicit confirmation.

Generated files

File	Purpose
`.devin/workflows/review.md`	The `/review` slash-command workflow. Files the CLI generated (recognised by their first heading) are refreshed in place on every run; a hand-authored file is left alone unless `--force`. A stale pre-rename copy at `.windsurf/workflows/review.md` is removed when it is CLI-generated.
`.vk/review/context.json`	`{ branch, base, repoRoot, generatedAt }` read by the workflow
`.vk/review/<branch>.md`	Written by the agent: the review itself (slashes in the branch name become `-`)

Add .devin/ and .vk/ to .gitignore if you don’t want the generated workflow and review artefacts committed.
